IAVA Team Massachusetts invites you to join us for the 1st Annual Vets Off-Grid Weekend. The first of its kind, Vets Off-Grid (VOG) encourages servicemembers and veterans to get out of the city and away from traffic, computers, car horns and couches. Have a particular talent or skill to share? We'll add it to the program so vets can visit your campsite to listen, learn, and enjoy.
Through the generous sponsorship of RallyPoint.com and Northeastern University, we have been able to reserve 26 individual campsites at Pillsbury State Park in Washington, NH. Space is limited, but for an advanced payment of $20 (+$2.09 processing fee), you can reserve your spot. Proceeds will be used in various ways to support the weekend's activities. The $20 reservation fee also enters you for a chance to win two Southwest Airline vouchers, compliments of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. You must be present to win.

CSM (Join to see) Please feel free to share with any veterans/servicemembers in/around New England or those who want to travel for a great weekend. Our goal is to run a successful event in New Hampshire (and we're working on doing it out in Washington State, as well) this year, and then use those as models to spread VOG across the nation. If you or anyone you know is interested in taking point on this in your state, I'm happy to work with them and get them started.
