Again? Reading this article (hyperbola within aside) I am astounded that they even try to offer their platitudes.
“Hines takes any allegations regarding patient safety and concerns seriously. Our veterans, staff and visitors are our #1 priority.”
Since August 2015 they have know it was there and still 9 months later they have taken no action. Black Mold does not stay in a taped up room, It's spores enter the air they are breathed in, it grows in the walls, in the dark and warm spaces. Once you know you have it you must act, time is not on your side. It will not go away if you wait long enough. I understand that is the VA's S.O.P ignore the problem and it will die before you really have to take an action. We as Vets should DEMAND that the VA administration be fired. ALL of them!! How Vets are being treated is barbaric.
