If you are unfamiliar with UPMC, it is an expansive and growing healthcare organization in Pennsylvania, with annual revenues over $20B. We have over 95,000 employees and are the largest non-governmental employer in the Commonwealth.

On November 18, from 4-8pm at Heinz Field, UPMC is having a Pathways For Veterans hiring event for veterans, spouses, partners. I’ve provided a link to the registration site. Recruiters and managers specifically interested in veteran candidates will be present to talk to job seekers about current opportunities, help them with resume preparation and application, and perhaps even give an on-site interview and conditional offer. This is a “come as you are” event. So, we understand if interested candidates have children with them, or if they are stopping in on the way to or from another job. Many UPMC employees who are also veterans will be on hand to help attendees navigate the event, make introductions for them, and speak to our military friendly culture. Parking is free and refreshments are provided.
