Vying for match points near Mosul battleground

Duhok is more than a few kilometers from Mosul. It lies in the shadows of the mountains of Turkey. I went there from Mosul to purchase supplies which were unavailable through military supply channels. What surprised and impressed me about Duhok, was that it was completely secure. My experiences there were similar to walking through a European market area. It was as if that region was untouched by the war. Perhaps a Kurdistan would not be a bad idea. Either the Kurds cared enough to invest in their own security or, perhaps the money trail back to Turkey paid for the security.

Good point, and yet I trust that al jazeera knows what it's doing. Lol soon there will be no more ISIS to worry about.
