Where were the CSMs? I am sure one of them felt this as it would create a major disturbance in the force.

I can't stand meaningless attempts at attention like this. I would rather see that much effort in community service or something else that reflects well on the Army. This looks stupid. I will take the down vote gladly if anyone thinks that is too harsh.

1SG (Join to see) I did something like that I bet anyone in my squad if they could beat me in an APFT I would buy them an apple Ipod. It worked great. They all passed and my Run time dropped to 11:59.

In a time when morale is reported at its lowest and there is movement to build cohesion and respect for all that serve. I am appalled...and I'm an ROTC DMG with over 20 years. What a slap in the face for equal opportunity!

Now play devils advocate what would have been done if one of them jacked up and ankle? I just do not see where this kind of spectacle does anything favoring just makes it all look like a joke.

Apparently, the Cadet Command gave 0 f*&Is that this violated AR 670-1. I would have taken the counseling statement and when they asked me why, pulled out the reg. I don't have a problem with the event, just the fact that cadets were made to participate in uniform while wearing heels. This is blatant disregard for professionalism within our ranks. Go home ROTC, you're drunk.

Wearing of the uniform was uncalled for. The point could have been made without it.

The point of this was lost on me because of the manner in which they chose top present it. Whoever was responsible for it should be reprimanded. Possibly good intentions, but very poor judgment and execution.
