War in Afghanistan Heats Up as Fight Against ISIS Winds Down

An interesting read. Having served in three deserts, if ISIS had been relegated to that terrain they'd be easily eliminated. Far more likely is they have blended back among the civilian populace until our focus is elsewhere. This also gives them a chance to focus on recruitment, training and reconstituting their losses.
