Good morning CPT.
His Cynicism can be justified on many levels and war does profit corporations and individuals. War is the extension of politics.
I'm not confident all our wars/police actions have been just for profit. I suspect, had America not joined the fight against Hitler and Japan, it would be a much different and darker world we live in.
Countries have interest. Do we not fight to keep the sea lanes open? Oil flowing? Our cars run on it. However, I do see a problem with our involvement in the ME religious war. The cost is being paid by the many so a few can have their agenda brought to reality. Regardless of how many innocent lives ruined are included. This brings a curse on us as a nation. Our money has been used for less than honorable deeds.
A large book can be written on the subject you posted.
