Oh please. Numbers does not equal quality. When one of ours can take out 5 of theirs, equal numbers means little. As for their subs, they have nothing on par with ours, and the majority of their fleet is old Soviet cast-offs.

I think Congress should realize that cutting our forces to the numbers they are now is a mistake. If you think about it mil pay is about 20% of the defense budget. So yes we need to spend smarter by tabling projects that are not getting off the ground anytime soon. Bring back more highly trained Airman and let us do what we do best. Fly Fight and WIN

Development/innovation is how we've always won wars. I don't think we should stop. I do know that when we outsource business they hike the dollar value just based on us being the federal government. I know we also have projects that have been going nowhere fast and those are where we should possibly look at cutting or putting aside and focus on ones that will keep us number 1.
