While we "make" an enemy of Russia, real enemies are attacking us (Terrorists) and potential enemies arise (China, North Korea, et al) Russia is one of the poorest nations in the world. Outside of a few modern cities, you find dirt roads and peasant villages that look little changed over the past several decades. Meanwhile China becomes a real economic competitor. North Korea plays with modern weapons as a chimpanzee might play with a drum. I suggest that you not be distracted and begin looking at these potential adversaries.
