“Watch How Congressmen Throw GOD Out of the Court!”
Huh? The video doesn’t show any court.
Additionally, it’s really not a big deal. In fact, several Presidents have been sworn into office without using a bible, or saying, ‘so help me god’.

SGT James Murphy well I guess taking the discussion of GOD out of the public those who don't know the fundamentals of faith are lost. And having those highly paid officials who sit in offices founded on "so help me GOD" denounce GOD then those who only hear the word GOD in church will have a working understanding. But others will not have a clear direction of how faith played a major role in the founding of our country.

Note the Congressman doesn't want to exert his will on other people that may not have the same religious beliefs he does. Just like the decision to pick either "swear or affirm" is an option in the same oath based on what one is comfortable with. Is Congressman Johnson going to make a Muslim or an atheist or non-Christian (period) to say "So help me God" just to make him feel better about his beliefs or allow them to supplant it with something appropriate for his/her personal belief system as witnesses?
