One of the most incredible sights you'll see. I guess the lesson to be learned is that you better talk to a good geologist before you build/buy near the beach

It's interesting watching all the development along the California coastline where the geological record clearly demonstrates that we have been enjoying a protracted period of calm. If and when the storms return, there will be a lot of high priced real estate riding the waves especially in places like Malibu
