Let this be a lesson, kids. It doesn't matter who you are: celebrity, politician, agency, corporation, or just John Q. Public... what goes on the internet, stays on the internet. Forever.

And less I am miss reading the article it seems the state at the time the soldier was cast and filmed he wasn't a convicted rapist
Kinda hard for recruiting command to look into the future and know somebody there considering for a part or one day soon be a convicted rapist
And then once they did find out they immediately pulled the ad.
I suppose something like this may now bring about full background investigations to include pending civilian or military criminal issues before casting and production.
And then again before the first time it's released to the public

First, I am glad they pulled the ad. Second, had someone done their due diligence in the Recruiting Command, it may have never aired in the first place. Lastly, is it just me or does T&P revel in this kind of stuff? It sure seems they have changed over the past couple of years.

LTC Trent Klug It is a reflection of how far our society has fallen. As a society we revel in the bad news, and ignore the good news. Good news is not news at all.

Understood and its been that way for a long time. However, T&P just seems to be a couple degrees off bubble in its published stances anymore.
