"Last month, the homeowners petitioned the Board of Supervisors for a hearing to rescind the tax sale. The board has scheduled a hearing for October. The homeowners association has also sued the couple and the city, seeking to block Cheng and Lam from selling the street to anyone while the city appeal is pending."
Translation: "I am a millionaire many times over from the fruits of capitolism....I do not want anyone else to have the same opportunity....I will attack you with the governemnt and the legal sysytem until I get my way."

The Board of Supervisors did not appear sympathetic. They issued a statement that was like " why does everybody else seem able to keep us notified of correct addresses and pay their taxes". Nancy Pelosi and Diane Finestein live on the street.

@MSGT James Mullis Zero sympathy for the rich douche nozzles who could have participated in the auction, or even gone to the city when the auction was announced. Now that it is all said and done they want to cry foul. Too bad so sad not sorry about your bad luck. I hope the NRA buys one of the parking spaces from the owners and parks a vehicle with NRA stickers all over it in the neighborhood.

I think the concept of "signed sealed and delivered" will hold sway in court.
