Weapons Officials Tight-Lipped on MHS Ammo Selection

With the latest enhancements in 9mm I am not surprised that the military is considering replacing the old ball ammo with a more effective projectile. Thanks for sharing LTC Ivan Raiklin, Esq.

I don't like the 9mm. To fast to small. Gotta hit a vital organ. A better ammo cld change my mind. The M1911 was made for close Combat. normally worn on a chest open end holster so if need be you didn't have to take it out to fire it. It's a slow moving, almost .50 cal, .45 cal. And will destroy whatever it hits. But ACCURACY at a distance.. ha. Instead of buying new pistols, or trying new ammo,but new barrels with better rifling and better ammo and keep the M1911..
