AZ user demand compels more and more autonomous features and Cloud connected vehicles we may well soon discover far greater dangers then those involved within a contained PC environment

MGySgt (Join to see) Image a war in the future where the enemy shuts down your entire warfighting system through Cyber Attacks or shuts down large cities putting them into a panic with no electricity, running water, sewer systems backing up, no gas for cooking, and the list goes on. We need to develop those capabilities very soon in this changing world of electronics and lack of Internet Security, issues, ricks, and vulnerabilities! Just my 2 cents - great blog and share James!

Sir, thank you! Russia has already successfully launched such a campaign twice publically. Georgia was shut down hard twice by Russia through a DDoS attack (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/08/13/technology/13cyber.html). This successful campaign shares traits with similar attacks performed against the Ukraine (https://www.wired.com/story/russian-hackers-attack-ukraine/) and Estonia (http://www.bbc.com/news/39655415).

One of the more interesting quotes that speaks directly to your point was "Cyber aggression is very different to kinetic warfare. It allows you to create confusion, while staying well below the level of an armed attack. Such attacks are not specific to tensions between the West and Russia. All modern societies are vulnerable." - Liisa Past, cyber-defence expert at Estonia's state Information System Authority.
