They should be thrown out of the Academy, made to repay cost of their education until now and face the same criminal charges as any student at a civilian school would for this offence. Army doesn't need these types of people!

I have to agree 100% with you LTC John Christensen!! The Academy, The Army, and The United States have no need for this. Veterans have enough trouble dealing with substance abuse issues. I have sat in many, many sessions at the VA with veterans having severe substance abuse issues. Let me tell you, it is not pretty.

Kick those boys out! And let them make big rock into little rocks at Leavenworth.

Got to send some to Leavenworth to make those small rocks during my career. As you can tell, no sympathy at all.

Liberal lawyers decimated the West Point Honor Code decades ago. But this is just outright criminality (except for maybe in CA).

Suggests that West Point has not lowered its standards for a commissioned officer candidate. Good for them. Duty, Honor, Country
