The motto remains. It's the mission statement that has changed. "Duty, Honor, Country is foundational to the United States Military Academy's culture and will always remain our motto," he (USMA Superintendent) wrote. "It defines who we are as an institution and as graduates of West Point."

For me...Meh...Army Values incorporates everything the Army stands for. Their Motto of Duty, Honor, Country hasn't changed just the mssion statement. So I think it is ok but I am not a West Point Graduate.

I don’t think it’s significant. Duty, honor, and country will remain an integral part, whether it’s written or not.
