Church or no church these little shit bags are not representative of the values that the DOD upholds. They should get the hammer thrown at them. Special court martial and a bad conduct discharge each with $3000 of their pay taken out. Then they should be made to clean every inch of that church with a toothbrush. Then once done walk off base with a bus ticket in hand to send them back to the hole they came out of.

Lt Col (Join to see) Great response. There is no place in the military for folks that would do this.

Lt Gen Silveria addresses cadets about racism incident
Lt. Gen. Jay Silveria, along with USAFA leadership, addressed the entire Cadet Wing and USAFA Preparatory School today. Lt. Gen. Silveria left no uncertainti...
I don't know if you can give these Airmen a field grade Article 15. Reduction in rank to E1 and make them clean it all up. This would be similar to someone under the rank of e-4 being caught with alcohol in their system. If they are not an NCO, send them for rehabilitation. If they are an NCO or higher, court-martial them and kick them out of the service. These people should go to anger management and they should perform community service. Maybe it was an act of stupidity but maybe they should be given a second chance. I know recently have that three star general screaming at the Air Force Academy to all his students to turn on their smartphones and record him saying the following in so many words... That you will not tolerate any kind of racial bigotry in the United States Air Force and that they need to get used to being with people from other races.

The Air Force does not delineate the AR15 between company and field grade. Its just an article 15 given by someone of command authority with G series orders. Usually it is a Field Grade officer. In this I don't agree that this is similar to an airman being drunk on duty or under age drinking. This is a crime. We are not their damn parents. Yes if they screwed up by drinking underage or getting a DWI, sure they could get the chance to rehabilitate. In this case this was a deliberate act. They did not just wake up one day and decide to do this. They probably sat around and talked about stuff that that lead to these events. So they made a conscious decision to deface private property.
They have no place in our military. If whatever value system that they brought with them in the military caused them to think this was good idea that's on them. They need to understand that there are consequences for those actions. I would agree if this were a spirit mission going overboard on base, but this isn't. This is a damn crime and should be treated as such. If they did not realize that vandalizing property is a serious offense, then they are not the airman I want in the Air Force I serve. I want them the hell out of here. You don't them either.
I firmly believe in giving second chances when its appropriate. This is not one of them. Maybe if one was simply a tag along and has mitigating circumstances you could argue giving them a second chance. But I have a feeling this was a collective effort. Therefore they are all guilty of this. To better the Air Force they need to get the full extent of the law. These kids showed a lack of respect for their fellow human beings. Giving them the second chance is lowering the bar. At some point one of them may become a leader. That person has no business leading airman in our nation's Air Force.
