What are your thoughts on this barbie commercial?
My youngest son played with barbies and other girly things and liked to wear the colorful feathery high heels, but he grew out of it by the age of 5.
His father thought I was turning him gay. I took him to a child psychologist who said it was perfectly natural and he would eventually stop.
I don't have a problem with boys playing with girls toys but this commercial in my opinion has gone way too far. ...first by making this boy look like a gir and second bu the way the boy acts is just not right.
What do you think.

Sgt Kelli Mays(I want her closet) My son wore capes and ran around with swords, and all other types of made up hero costumes. Does it count if he dressed up like his Mom in uniform? He wore my entire uniform to include boots and kevlar.... I know this is different than yours but I think it's just a stage some kids go through. I don't think anything is wrong with it.

I would call it political correctness gone mad. I also really hope it's not a case of an uncaring corporate entity giving their American consumers what they want.

I think if that's what this kid wanted, awesome. Full support here. If the media made him play dress up, however, that would not sit right with me. Don't force something just because you want to look good for putting something like that out.
