Wondering what paid employees are doing while Agentic AI is at work.
We know it isn't updating recordings that are used to answer phone calls. Websites? Some are updated others not, so useful in that respect too. . .
An agentic AI system takes "some sort of action on our behalf.” As always it is in the programming skill:
"Department of Information Systems in Sonoma County, Calif., offered more examples around how agentic AI tools could generate content to populate across agency websites when a holiday is approaching, prompting the closure of departments.
“Once the holiday passes, the system removes all of those notifications, saving website developers and account managers tremendous manual effort,” Fruchey wrote in an email.
Or, when a worker calls in sick, this action could put in place a series of automated processes where an AI agent could begin rearranging appointments to ensure clients are still able to receive services as scheduled.
“If the system can’t rearrange appointments successfully, it notifies clients of what has occurred and offers alternative appointments for a future date,” said Fruchey, "

SGT Carl Blas Chilled out A.I. speed? Lol. It might be preferable. However A.I. is in the relatively early stages of universal practical application as an industry, which means we, the public, are trial and error test subjects by the developers and programmers (and governments that fund the research) whose pocketbooks all come first while putting A.I. to use, as they make it into an industry that is like an iceberg with the public intended to see only the tip of that iceberg.
