Funny thing is that more people want to be writers than want to write. Technically, every literate person is a writer. Just sign your name to a receipt for a credit card purchase and you have written. (I now sign electronic purchases by drawing a happy face - my scribblature - so I guess I can't claim that as writing anymore) However, to be honest, I have never aspired to be a writer. I have written for pay, but that wasn't my goal. Once upon a time I aspired to be an author, but that isn't all it's cracked up to be, especially in the age of self-publishing. No, I'm a storyteller.
