I know I'm gonna a sound like gloom and doom, I just answered another thread on this...going to Mars before another 100-200 yes is, at least to me, purest pollyanna sci fi fantasy, I helped with projects of comparable complexity, I knew guys who helped on Apollo before !y disability, I met two Apollo astronauts, I've been all over all the Gerard K O'Neill Langramge point colony fantasies, let the human race build viable thermal rocket engines and build a fleet of lunar colonization vessels, establish actual serious colonies and real spations, not the toy up there now, and then, maybe, just maybe, the human race might eventually be ready for Mars, till then, to me, it's purest sci fi garbage, I know I'm gonna be disagreed with, however, I've given it a whole lot of thought, and quite honestly, that's my conclusion, honest....

Worse than full body armor in a HMMWV? LOL
Good post, Sgt Wayne Wood!
