Thursday, I ushered at "Rudolph The Musical" and I must say if you get to see this live stage version with masterful puppetry, take it! Saturday morning I got up to temps below 20* F (I grew up in New England I know cold and once it gets below 0, it about all feels the same to me) and then I ushered as a volunteer for Paw Patrol for the preschool community and their families. Midday I stopped at the Midian Shrine office to find out more regarding their mission.. Friday afternoon, the temperature had risen to 19 and a second group of little ones in their favorite character clothes and heavy coats sat mesmerized by the robotics, singing, dancing and staging of their cartoon characters bigger than life right in front of them. Friday eve, "American English" performed Beatles hits from each reinvention compete with full costume changes. And that is when my body cried uncle. Too much. But the expressions on the little ones was indescrible, they were so engaged and attentive and as still as 2,3 and 4 years can get and won't soon forget this live performance. Families together. I wanted to go back for 2 more performances but my body declined so I spent the day in bed, mint chocolate coconut milk warmed in a mug, opened a book, took a nap and then explored some of the internet. Tomorrow, Church and then I dance. In August, I had to ccncetrate just to breathe, never mind move, get dressed and leave the house. Volunteering in the community. I get to see the light shine and engage with all generations. What did you say I was missing?

That all sounds great compared to Poke'mon or the weekend I spent framing in a room for the mother-in-law.
