Whatever Happened to Black Lives Matter?

I find it disconcerting when someone makes a statement contrary to historical fact. It makes the rest of the associated seem not as important.
"There has never been a black movement in the history of America that white people found acceptable. Not the abolitionist movement. Not the black power movement. Not even the civil rights movement. Their egos and sense of privilege make them want to stomp out anything that doesn’t include or directly benefit them."
What follows after this then appears to be Trump bashing. IF the author had not made the statements above, he would have come across as more credible. But with these statements he degrades the valid points that he made before them and after them.

Good question. I think the old wisdom is still the best. In this case, the hotter the fire, the faster it burns (out). On the other hand, "Americans have a very short attention span" serves equally well.

It's still very active, but it's decentralized leadership structure along with the founders not being in front of cameras is hard for our media networks to recognize as "doing something". Nonetheless small localized movements have been working.
