when i wrecked My Bike and i could not walk away ...
with a Crushed Ankle, 7 broken ribs, a broken collar bone and shoulder blade, and bruised spleen...
after 2 surgeries and 9 days in the hospital.....
Now that was My wake up call... So much for being Bullet Proof...

The first time I saw a date of birth for one of my solders and remembered where I was stationed when he was born!

All my life, I was the guy who was never sick. I cashed in my Sick Days for a little holiday money at the end of every year. Then, after a long period of struggling against a cough, and breathing issues, I ended up in the hospital with Congestive Heart Failure. It was a real eye-opener.

It's very good now. Heart is pretty much back to normal. Still on meds, but that is just a safeguard.
