Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday also fall on this weekend, marking the Armistice ceasing hostilities on the 11th hour of the 11th of the 11th month, 99 years ago, today. We are not the only country to honor our war dead, not in November.

To you as well. The article lists where to but the poppy pin. This holiday is a challenge for the Irish as they fought as British subjects in WW I. Where as we honor our dead in May as s result of the Civil War. Ireland holds a similar ceremony in June.
