I went to Mt Magazine part in northern Arkansas. And I parked at the ranger station, told them what direction I was going in. Just in care. And walked in about 2 days. And set up camp. And I didn't see any on 2 legs other than myself for 2 weeks. They call it Mt magazine park because everywhere you look it's picture perfect. I don't know about the most excluded part of the state's. But it was people free and wonderful for me....

I paddled 50- miles down the San Juan river, in Mexican Hat Utah and saw 10 people in five days, aside from the 15 people on my trip. We almost felt like we were the last people on earth.

I broke an axle on my jeep in the Navaho Nation in southern Utah & thought i was the last person on earth for several hours.

Wow...interesting. I was stationed in Minot ND and I thought places out there where I hunted were pretty darn remote.

PO3 Bob McCord when i came east from seattle i drove across Montana & Wyoming in a blizzard pulling a u-haul...

Thank God for 4WD chains on all 4... and Jeep 4L 6cyl
