Agree. They have supported us without fail for 40 years in spite of us regularly supporting and abandoning them. The biggest stumbling block has been our relationship with Turkey that vociferously objects to recognition of a Kurdish state. But Turkey has been steadily moving away from us and become more virulently anti-west. It may be time to do a critical review of who is and who is not out friend.

I wish we would repay them for their sacrifice by creating a separate state out of areas in Turkey, Syria and Iraq.
