I know that everyone in the Army has DNA on file, I suspect it is the same for the Air Force, but not 100% certain. It would seem that a simple DNA test would identify the culprit and end this.

I don't think the government is allowed to use it for that. But I don't know. Anyway, it seems a cowardly act in addition to a disgusting one. A person afraid to confront the person they have a problem with.
