As a student of history I have long enjoyed finding researchers who put the record straight. This one is an excellent example.

I would I had 4 hands so I could give this 4 thumbs up. Eye-opening to say the least. It goes to show how the media can totally slander a person with little or no research.

Excellent article, CPT Jack Durish. For those interested, I highly recommend Charles Leerhsen's excellent biography, 'Ty Cobb', which also deconstructs the many myths and damaging lies that have built up against Cobb.
