Why 2017 May Be the Best Year Ever

The article is a couple of months old but still good reading. Did you know that every day in 2017, 18,000 children who, in the past would have died of simple diseases, will survive. Or that every day about 300,000 people will gain access to electricity. Or that every day over 250,000 people will be lifted our of extreme poverty. What an amazing time we live in!
