Half the comedians/comedy shows we listened to/watched in the 80's/90's would start a cascading trigger warning across the entire political landscape.

Comedy can also be generational. Some of the comics the younger generation find funny, I just sit there and think good lord I paid money for this.

I have been a fan of British humor since childhood but many friends and family don't get it. But comedy is largely cultural.
