Why Corporate Leaders Became Progressive Activists

After reading the whole (kind long) article, I think his point regarding similar people with similar education (ie Harvard, & etc.) backgrounds will come to similar world-views, is mostly right. But he never mentions one thing: CEOs of Fortune 500 companies are the "winners" in the global capitalist chaos of the fight on the way up. They are on top now. And it is much easier to stay on top if you "control the chaos" of capitalism via progressive activism.
