Uncut diamonds are much cheaper than lapidary-cut diamonds SPC Britanny *Winnie* Balthaser. All natural diamonds have flaws
In white colorless diamonds the obvious answer for most expensive is D (the diamond color chart goes from D-Z). But in colored diamonds... While there can be debates about which is more expensive, the blue diamond or the pink diamond however Red Diamonds are the rarest and thus the most expensive diamond color!.

FYI My wife's Leo wedding diamonds are valued at $20k and insured.

SPC Britanny *Winnie* Balthaser - I purchased some Le Vian chocolate diamond jewelry for my wife a few years ago. The Le Vian family are a jewel/lapidary family who started out in Iran. These pieces tend to be $5,000 or less usually in the $2 ,000 to $3,000 range so they are certainly not the most expensive but they are uniquely designed.

I saw a video on the history channel about diamonds one time and how there are plenty and the price is kept high because the DeBeers and others like them have a massive amount of them hidden away so to make it seem like they are a rare commodity. If I can find it again I will post a link.

LT Charles Baird Please do! I'm sure the amount of money service members have spent on diamonds alone is a lot
