Good grief, this wasn't nor was the Louisiana flood due to Climate change. What part of climate change caused a flood in the 1920, that effected 10 States? What part of climate change caused the Galveston hurricane? Then he asks why the Cajun Navy? Look at Katerina and the Mayor of New Orleans and the Governor. Money given by the Feds to develope evacuation plans were spent on other items. The Wilkie talks possessed by State officials were not compatible etc, etc, etc. At least most boaters know their boats work and how to operate them. I was amazed when I read some pumps in New Orleans were not working after Harvey hit Texas. . WTF. Then there is the fact The New York Times has spent the last year bemoaning Trump and his supposed racism, misogyny and utter stupidity then this guy asks why people don't trust the Federal government managed by Trump? This whole thing gets more rediculous by the day! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1900_Galveston_hurricane

Of course, Hurricane Harvey had nothing to do with Climate Change, no more than any summer storm indicates anything so dramatic. That's just the New Yorker going off on its Leftist rant.

Of course climate change serves another purpose, a refuge for governmental incompetence. This is about broken New Orleans pumps as Hurricane season starts. http://dailycaller.com/2017/08/10/new-orleans-official-blamed-flooding-on-climate-change-but-broken-pumps-were-to-blame/

It's also a refuge for non-independent thinkers.

Dunkirk -- a different enemy, but a very good analogy!
