He promised to end the war in Afghanistan. Claiming were are no longer initiating combat operations is not ending the war. We're still deploying and the Taliban is still fighting and killing American Troops. The war is not over. Had he listened to the military in the first place, we would be a lot closer to stabilizing Afghanistan than we are now. Instead he went against Gen Dunford's recommendations and pulled too many of us out.
