Everyone in my BCT platoon was sick for some or all of the cycle. I was sick four separate times over eight weeks. We had people from all over the country and a couple from Guam. That's a lot of germs, but that's also what strengthens our immune systems-- exposure to different viruses and germs, to which the body produces defenses/antibodies. Robbing one's body of this natural germ-fighting system will only weaken immune systems.
We've seen what all of this irrational fear-porn has done to us as a nation already. Keeping it going cannot do anything but further weaken us.

Someone on the same page as me. We need herd immunity. The way the government is doing attacking the COVID problem is only prolonging the problem. Let everyone get exposed. It will build our immune systems. Unfortunately some will die but the problem will go away faster and we can get on with a normal life.

Cpl Vic Burk - The death rate from C19 is now minimal, very close to zero for those NOT in the "dangerous" demographics. But they won't tell you that, because keeping the fear and the panic alive keeps them able to rule by decree. For most demographics, the survival rate is 99.74%. I like those odds. That's why I don't wear a mask unless specifically ordered to (like walking into the building where I work).

SSG(P) (Join to see) - I also only wear one where I have to; at the school I teach at. I don't buy into all the scare tactics they are throwing at us. And if I did get sick and die from it, well it was my time. I refuse to let COVID control my life.
