I do not think that they should have added weight to "compensate" for extra muscle. All they had to do was for people who busted the weight limit is give them the body fat test like they do in the Air Force. That way their muscle is accounted for. By just adding on extra pounds you will have some that will see that as a reason to just add on weight by any means. There are systems to be used already without having to re-invent the wheel. They were not kicking military people out that busted weight due to being all muscle so why add more pounds?

The Marines are much more stringent then the Air Force in my experience.

MSgt (Join to see) - They are but just adding weight is the wrong way to go about it. There are Marines that will use the added weight to just add fat weight. If no Marine ever got fat then they wouldn't need weight restrictions because everyone would have done it by themselves. I am not saying they shouldn't compensate for added muscle. I am just saying they can do it by body fat instead of raising up the limit
