I think I would kill for 6-7 hours. Going to sleep easy, not waking up 2 or three times a night for an hour or so not so much.

Also, make your bedroom as place to sleep. No reading as this stimulates the brain and no radios. Try a sleep machine or a fan. Anything that will cause white noise. Keep the room temp comfortably but not hot. Between 66 to 68 degrees. When you make your room a place to sleep, that is what you will do hopefully.

Ive taken the tv out of my room and have low lights. I also leave a night light on in the bathroom. Research shows if you wake in the night and have to go to the bathroom, you should not turn on overhead lights because it tells the natural melatonin in your brain that it is morning because of the light. This makes it hard for your brain to back to sleep. I also bought a sleep number bed. Although it was expensive, it was well worth it due to the quality of sleep I have now. Taking a nice warm bubble bath with lavender scent also relaxes the body. Its ok to take a bubble bath if you are male. And last but not least, I recently read of you wear socks to bed, the warmth of your feet tells your brain its time to go to sleep. I hate having anything on my feet when I sleep, but I have tried this and it worked. Hope that helps

SGT Elizabeth Elliott Wow! Intelligent comments!
I agree with all of them. When I enter the bathroom in the morning the lite switch goes to semi-dim. I awaken slowly nowadays!
