SGT (Join to see) I agree with it. I think travel for instance especially the ability to do so being more readily available than the past generation makes it more appealing to the younger generation. My inlaws live in a rather small TOWN and they just don't even grasp the fact that we travel all the time, move all the time, and enjoy it. In their minds that is crazy. Especially with mass transportation in cities I don't see this generation as readily wanting a vehicle when there are other options and they are more environmentally conscious. Thanks for the read!

I look forward to uprooting every few years. I want every employer and recruiter that I meet to know that after two years in NY, I want to go away. Many times I've told potential employers "No, I do NOT wish to stay in NY or go back to VA." It keeps my mind fresh and gives me an excuse to say "go live lively" - shameless plug.

It also keeps us from getting too comfortable in our jobs. At least to me.

SPC Britanny *Winnie* Balthaser - True. "Up or out" can become synonymous with "Up AND out". A new surrounding always stimulates growth personally and professionally for me.
