Probably. Why not, we seem to be emasculating the culture, why not start with the military.

I certainly hope not SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. Dropping the man from infantryman, or cavalryman or artilleryman [which has been integrated in many MOSs for years] would be as short-sighted as removing the name Redskins or Braves from a team because of a perceived insult.
On the other hand, using spokesman for man and spokeswoman for a woman make sense.

LTC Stephen F. well received and felt. I agree with you, my question is "what will the Army re-name it, if changed"!

Infantryperson, artilleryperson, and cavalryperson would probably be the most acceptable terms for the politically correct which would include male, women transgender in fact and transgender in waiting groups SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL
