I’m an Eagle Scout and I still don’t know how I feel about the transition. I’m also a father of two girls. As such, I want to give them every advantage in life. It will be interesting to see see how this all plays out.

While he's not the best spoken person, there are some points he made that ring true. He did fail to mention that the shrinking membership is part of the change. However, even my wife called bulls**t on girls in Boy Scouts. Seriously, if girls want to do the same things as boys then it's time for them to change the Girl Scouts. Are you going to tell Marines that they have to become like bubble-heads because a few wannabe recruits want access to both?

Something is wrong with my YouTube so I can't watch the video but I know what it says I was kind of hesitant at first I have been a scout leader for 18 yrs with my two boys both are eagle scouts but then I started talking to the girls that wanted to join they had gotten disillusioned with girl scouts and wanted to do more adventurous stuff and other stuff the the boy scouts do (our troop goes to the gun range once a month,we go rock climbing and repelling,go mountain biking we are asked to do color guards for parades dedications etc,do community service place flags on veterans headstones on memorial day ) it made sense people ask me why and I always bring this point up when your daughter shoots a ten point buck are you excited YES when she catches a 6lb catfish are you excited YES so what's the difference
