PO3 (Join to see) I like it! I am CCW certified in Franklin County. The CCW is maintained at the county level. I like the de-escalation training and procedure classes. Citizens need to be taught to de-escalate and dis-engage if at all possible but when there are children in the classroom the teacher may have to be the protector.
I prefer non-lethal weapons, but criminals prefer lethal weapons acquiring them via illegal channnels, aka stealing. This is why banning guns does not work, criminals don't follow the law and ignore gun bans. Citizens need to be trained and have the opportunity to protect themselves and those under their care.
