To be honest its par for the course, get caught lying "Oh I cant remember". More Excuses from someone that wanted fame and doesn't like how it turned out.

I go back to the "journalist" who wrote the story... she had an agenda & an axe to grind

well, with the exception of when I actually passed out from the blood clot from my TBI my PTSD doesn't cause me to not remember......very much the opposite. Have a feeling this was someone who, at the time, thought this "story" could help someone, but I'm not sure i believe it is true. In saying that, i haven't actually met her to see how she reacts to questions and situations either.

I have Ptsd from multiple sexual assault. I also had tbi, blot clot causing multiple loss of O2. I say the mini strokes but it was clogged carotid from trauma-loss of oxygen to the brain, stroke, and transient ischemic attack. Blood clot optic nerve cause the stroke and mini stroke.
I have serious memory issues. I remember some assaults cry for a bit and move on. As in under and hour. I'm not sure which caused the memory loss. Head trauma. Getting strangled or it all as a whole. But take into consideration. I had serious memory issues before the brain malfunction. The brain is funny in that it will block out memories. I remembered two years ago an assault that happened when I was 17. Just popped in my head. Got to relive the hole event. Remembered thier first middle and last names. We have nightmares to help us process. When your brain decides you're ready to process trauma it gives back in a sense the memories it locked away. It protects you from going insane. We all get to be assholes. Short fused, sarcastic, sick senses of humor, inappropriate responses to everyday events. We tend to go numb instead of fall apart when crazy shit happens. Example a friend committed suicide with a high cal hollow point. I was completly calm. No tears. Just did what needed to be done to limit the trauma for others. Got drunk a few years later went full batshit crazy bitch and voiced loudly my opinion of the abuser who tore her apart. Leading up to the event. Ptsd isn't ine size fits all. Somepeople have other events that change us. We are all individuals.

We must have some solidarity, we are all tagged in the same insanity.
Amanda Hollingsworth-Snyder.

Thats exactly why I said I hadn't met the woman so had no way to know how she processes things. We are all different and PTSD is one of the biggest mind-fucks out there. Thanks for sharing SrA Mandy Snyder If you ever need to vent, or just wanna chat, feel free to hit me up anytime.
