It's nice to get a different perspective on what we do in other countries. Going there and talking to the people involved is always a better source of information than just government and MSM outlets alone.

If you happen to live next to a terrorist compound then you should expect horror. What part of that didn't they understand? they are lucky that we decided to risk brave men on a surgical strike rather than carpet bombing their village. If you remove the intel value of such a raid, it makes more sense to bomb the entire area then asses the damage from a satellite.

If you read the article, they didn't know why the SEALS came in the first place. We get fed wrong or not entirely accurate info from inside sources sometimes. Also mowing down fleeing women and kids never helps us in the long run.

I do agree that it is better to get other perspectives as long as those perspectives are not radical in nature. People adversely affected is good information, the opinion of terrorists and their supporters, not so much!!!

Very true, it's extremely complex. I'd go as far as to say even if it were strictly speaking a terrorist training camp, I doubt everyone there is a bad person.
