Very misleading, but that's par for the course. $11 an hour vs. $1 a day is comparing apples to oranges. Let's compare detained illegal aliens with other incarcerated individuals. Yes, there are some states where inmates earn up to $6-7 a day, but guess what, there are some states where inmates earn nothing. They are detained for a reason, they broke the law. (both illegal aliens and convicted felons) They don't deserve the same wages as every other legal worker.

I work in sales in the oil and gas industry. Every time a new compressor station gets built in West Virginia, unless its union work, mostly the whole job is filled with imagrants that don't speak English, they usually have a Foreman that will translate for them, making anywhere between 15 to 25 dollars an hour. I have no problem with it. It is a fact though and it is usually about about 500 men a job. These are things I see with my own eyes. I don't have to listen to the news to tell me what is facts or not.

Normally because they're the only ones that want to do the job at hand.
