We are now post Afghanistan. Just like the years post Vietnam.
We have no Allie's that trust us as before.
No Intel other than spot observations. / Satellite visuals/ and possible drones.
We are basically blind for all intents and purposes.
The Russians/ Chinese have hypersonic missile capability. We can't even protect our interests.World wide.

The American way of war has always been cyclical. We do it to ourselves every time. The post Vietnam RIFs decimated much of our experienced ground leadership and did nothing in terms of true readiness. Our political leadership historically has little in the ways of consistent strategic planning and policy. Add to the fact most of our NATO allies do not really trust us because of Biden's "leading from behind" in the Ukraine and we are in for the rough ride over the next 3 to 5 years. What scares me is the openness of our southern boarder, and the possibility of another 9/11.
