I believe that more gun control would lead to more crime yes. Mainly crime against the laws of the stricter gun control. More laws we have equals more broken laws being committed. Duh!

LTC (Join to see)
SFC Harry H. If the statistics are correct, guns in the hands of good guys are responsible for stopping thousands of crimes each year that seem to go unreported.

LTC (Join to see) I’m not 100% sure of those statistics but I could perhaps agree. I’m not disputing anything really. I am merely just pointing out that the more laws we have are more laws that can be broken is all. Which ultimately results in more reported crime. I also was pointing out that stricter gun laws allows a larger window for people to violate the strickend gun laws. Which again creates more laws being broken and statistically raises the crime rate. That’s all, not much of any arguments here aside from that.

Always we begin with the statistics. Numbers. "I am not a number. I am a free man." And I've looked at the statistics for myself. Eliminate those places with the strictest gun control from the equation and America leads the world in gun safety. You want information. There it is...

Maj Robert Thornton
Filmed in a village in Wales called Portmeirion. Looks like an Italian seaside village.
I enjoyed the show and it's precursor, Secret Agent starring Patrick McGoohan.
But, back to the question. The gun control folks conveniently forget the unpublished CDC study regarding defensive gun use.
My .45 ACP travels just under 1000 fps. It takes the Sheriff's dept a minimum of 10 minutes to respond. I'll keep my firearms .
