A weak cold has passed here in the Piedmont. The strongest weather this evening is associated with a pair of Lows in coastal NC. As these showers and frontal boundary slide off the coast, we will have winds from the south both from the High and the following Low.
By mid-week another weak cold front moves into the area (Piedmont), increasing winds and rain chances up to 90%. Cyclogenesis along the cold frontal boundary would naturally slow the front. This situation is fluid, meaning thermal profiles can affect the amount of cooling or warming. Stay tuned!
