WWII hero and Doolittle Raider David Thatcher dies at 94 - VAntage Point

A man who took part in a mission that raised the morale of the country after Pearl Harbor passes away. I'm going to go ahead and imagine the flags currently lowered to half staff/mast are done so in his honor. Requiescat in pace.

This leaves one survivor from the first raid which targeted Japan - Lt. Col Richard Cole is now the last surviving Doolittle Raider.
Kudos to each and every man who took part in that mission.
